Albums I'm Looking Forward To: 6/21/19

Hello readers! It's Wednesday and you know what that means... A list of albums I'm excited for this weekend! We have a great selection of albums so keep on reading. I also want to apologize because Two Door Cinema Club delayed their album release, so they will be releasing their new album this Friday!

1. 7 by Lil Nas X

The Old Town Road guy? Yeah, you heard that right. After his claim to fame with the infamous, Old Town Road track, he is finally dropping an EP this Friday. With a mysterious track list, it will be interesting to see if he is going to continue with his country rap style, or just completely go with country or rap. Who knows, this EP might have him doing an elementary tour this upcoming school season. Just kidding. If you don't know what I'm talking about, he performed Old Town Road at an elementary school a few weeks back. Check out one of the singles from his upcoming EP, Old Town Road (Remix).

2. Help Us Stranger by The Raconteurs
Just like I mentioned the last few weeks, this is another band that has been on my watch list, but I still haven't had the chance to listen to them. Even though they haven't released an album in over 10 years, one of their members, Jack White, has been keeping busy with other projects. Check out one of the singles from their upcoming album, Help Me Stranger.

3. Broke & Happy by Vic Sage
While hip hop isn't that huge in the midwest, Vic Sage definitely has something to offer for us. Coming from Omaha, Nebraska and having a killer EP, Long Days Longer Nights, Vic Sage is coming out with a new project this Friday! It's awesome to hear more people from the midwest are getting recognition in the music world! Listen to one of the singles off the new project, Thousand.

One thing that sets her apart from some of the other female rappers is her aggressive and raspy delivery. She first started releasing music in high school, but gained a good amount of attention with her 2018 mixtape, Nasty . He's had quite an interesting year with several features and a lot of growth from his 2019 album, All My Heroes Are Cornballs . While he released quite a few singles during the year, I didn't really check that many out, except for his BALD! tracks. Now, several singles later, he has released a short EP titled, EP! The first track from the EP is BALD! Since there is a remix a few tracks later, I am going to group the two right here. I actually heard both of these tracks before t

Despite quarantine and lockdowns, she has been keeping busy by recording new music, as well as re-recording some of her older albums, due to some legal battles with her old record label. evermore marks her second album this year and her ninth studio album overall. The first track from the album is willow . The first thing I notice is that she continues to utilize that folk pop sound in her music, just like her previous album a few months back. It definitely is more upbeat and includes more ins
