We have come to the first week in July. Just when you thought there weren't going to be a lot of big projects dropping this Friday, several artists have recently announced they are going to drop an album this weekend. Here are some of the albums I'm looking forward to this weekend.

1. Revenge of the Dreamers III by Dreamville
Revenge of the Dreamers III is a follow up to the 2015 album, Revenge of the Dreamers II. This record includes a lot of people who are signed to Dreamville Records, such as J. Cole and Bas who had an eventful 2018. Over 100 people were invited to the recording session for this album, whether they accepted the invitation or not is questionable, but it might have a lot to offer. I'm a bit skeptical when it comes to collaborative albums with a large amount of artists since everyone has their own style of rapping/singing. However, since they are already on their third album, fans still keep flocking to it. Check out one of the singles to their album below!

2. ERYS by Jaden Smith
After a long awaited return, Jaden Smith is back with a new album. It was rumored to be released in May or June, but it has been pushed back to July. He released a three track pack titled "ERYS IS COMING" back in April to hype up the album. His father, Will Smith, also made a surprise appearance at his Coachella set. If you didn't notice, ERYS is just SYRE spelled backwards, which was the name of his debut album. There are a lot of amazing features planned for this album, with his sister, Willow Smith, being one of them.

3. Flamingo by Olympia
I found out about Olympia while browsing upcoming albums on the internet. Olympia, or Olivia Bartley, is an Australian pop singer and songwriter. Flamingo will be her second studio album and will have twelve different tracks. I checked out her single Hounds and it looks promising. Check out the single below!

One thing that sets her apart from some of the other female rappers is her aggressive and raspy delivery. She first started releasing music in high school, but gained a good amount of attention with her 2018 mixtape, Nasty . Now, several mixtapes later, Rico Nasty drops her debut album, Nightmare Vacation . The first track from the album is Candy . The beat has been featured on a few commercials so this should sound familiar to some people. To describe it, it's a light, string-like beat that i

He's had quite an interesting year with several features and a lot of growth from his 2019 album, All My Heroes Are Cornballs . While he released quite a few singles during the year, I didn't really check that many out, except for his BALD! tracks. Now, several singles later, he has released a short EP titled, EP! The first track from the EP is BALD! Since there is a remix a few tracks later, I am going to group the two right here. I actually heard both of these tracks before t

Despite quarantine and lockdowns, she has been keeping busy by recording new music, as well as re-recording some of her older albums, due to some legal battles with her old record label. evermore marks her second album this year and her ninth studio album overall. The first track from the album is willow . The first thing I notice is that she continues to utilize that folk pop sound in her music, just like her previous album a few months back. It definitely is more upbeat and includes more ins
