There is one thing that I've always thought about when it comes to AdSense, are all blogs and websites treated the same? If there were two websites with similar views and other stats but were about two completely different topics, would they make the same amount of money through AdSense? The answer may surprise you, but they would get paid different amounts. Turns out, the amount of money you could make through AdSense greatly depends on your niche, or topic.

Before we talk about the different niches, we need to talk about two terms related to advertisements: CPC and CPM. If you run a blog or website and run advertisements, you might be familiar with these two terms. CPC stands for cost-per-click and CPM stands for cost-per-thousand impressions. Every time you see an ad on your website, that would count as an impression. However, just because you see the ad, doesn't mean it meant anything to you. However, if you clicked on it, the website owner would make more money from you. Companies pay website owners more money if they click on the ad because it would more than likely take the person to the company's website. That being said, a fitness company would probably want to advertise on a fitness website. A fitness advertisement might not do too well on a website dedicated to baking cakes!

Let's dig into the top niches that make the most money from AdSense.

Fitness

Like we were just talking about, the fitness industry pays a lot of money to fitness website owners. Some website owners have reported up to a $20 CPC for some of the ads shown on their page. Also, with the new year underway, this might be the best time to start a fitness blog. A lot of people don't make much money through AdSense the first few months of the year since companies aren't willing to drop a lot of money. However, with a lot of people 'trying' to get into fitness at the beginning of the year, they can make a good chunk of money in January.

Finance/Marketing/Business

What do you think of when you hear the term "business person"? If you said money, you would be correct. Businesses, especially people at the top of the chain, make a lot of money, so it would make sense that they would pay a lot for advertisements. A lot of people want to retire early and know how to make more money, so they are the perfect people that businesses want to target!

Online Education and Work From Home

Hit a mid-life crisis? Not sure what you want to do with your life? Then advertisers are going to target you. If you run a blog about working from home, you might be lucky enough to get some advertisements for continuing education or how to work from home.

Technology

Who would have thought that people that talk about expensive products would get such a good CPC/CPM from AdSense? Tech companies get a lot of money for charging over a thousand dollars for a $50 piece of plastic. If you love testing new products or giving updates on big tech companies, you might find that this is the niche for you.

Insurance

One thing that I would have never guessed is that insurance blogs are on the top of this list. While not being that common, insurance companies will pay a lot of money to have their ads on those types of blogs/websites, over a $50 CPC that is.

Of course, Travis Scott was going to release something before the end of the year. JACKBOYS is a hip hop collective consisting of Travis Scott, Sheck Wes, and Don Toliver. Despite the collective only having three members, the EP JACKBOYS has some guest features from Quavo, Offset, and many more.

To start off the album, we have a remix of Travis Scott's HIGHEST IN THE ROOM, which was released earlier this year. If you haven't heard the original, it has a trap beat with a high-pitched vocalist in the background. The remix keeps the chorus and his first verse, but then we have the addition of RosalĂa and Lil Baby.…

Allah-Las is an American indie rock band consisted of four different members. LAHS marks the band's fourth studio album. While I have always known about Allah-Las, I have never had the chance to sit down and listen to one their albums, even though they have been on my "listen to list" for a while now. Now, with the release of LAHS, I had the chance to sit down and give them a chance, and I definitely wasn't disappointed.

The album starts out with Holding Pattern. There's an easy guitar groove going on at the very beginning. Right off the bat, this reminds me of some old-school classic rock, as we…

CZARFACE is a hip hop collective formed by hip hop duo 7L & Esoteric, as well as Wu-Tang Clan's Inspectah Deck. CZARFACE has had an eventful year, starting off with CZARFACE Meets Ghostface, which is a collaborative project between CZARFACE and Ghostface Killah from Wu-Tang Clan. CZARFACE also dropped an instrumental album titled Double Dose of Danger (which I was able to snag on Record Store Day this year!) and the album I am going to be reviewing, The Odd Czar Against Us. While I just discovered CZARFACE last year, they definitely reminded me of MF DOOM, with the comic book-like characters. Both also use…
